Shopping events
The purchase funnel, from browsing to the completed purchase. These events follow the GA4 ecommerce format. All the parameters below are inside ecommerce, together with the common parameters.
view_item_list
A list of events, sessions or products is shown: the catalog, the sessions of an event, the products of the channel, or the suggestions page.
item_list_idstring- Identifier of the list.
item_list_namestring- Name of the list.
itemsarray- The items in the list.
ob_event_idinteger- Sessions listEvent whose sessions are listed.
ob_selected_daystring- Sessions listDay selected in the session picker.
ob_advanced_daysinteger- Sessions listDays between today and the selected day.
select_item
The buyer opens the detail page of an event or a pack.
item_list_idstring- Identifier of the list the item belongs to.
item_list_namestring- Name of the list the item belongs to.
itemsarray- The selected item.
view_item
The buyer opens the ticket selection of a session. It is also sent when the buyer views a pack, a product, a gift card or a subscription.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Lowest available price.
itemsarray- The viewed items.
ob_event_idinteger- SessionEvent identifier.
ob_event_titlestring- SessionEvent name.
ob_event_categorystring- SessionCode of the event category.
ob_session_idinteger- SessionSession identifier.
ob_session_titlestring- SessionSession name.
ob_venue_idinteger- SessionVenue identifier.
ob_availabilityinteger- SessionNumber of available seats.
ob_selected_daystring- SessionDay of the session as
YYYY-MM-DD, in the buyer's local time. ob_selected_hourstring- SessionTime of the session as
HH:MM, in the buyer's local time. ob_advanced_daysinteger- SessionDays until the session.
add_to_cart
Seats or products are added to the cart.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Total price of the added items.
itemsarray- The added items.
ob_order_idstring- Identifier of the order in progress.
remove_from_cart
Seats or products are removed from the cart.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Total price of the removed items.
itemsarray- The removed items.
begin_checkout
The buyer starts the checkout.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Total price of the cart.
itemsarray- The items in the cart.
couponstring- With promotionsNames of the applied promotions, separated by commas.
ob_order_idstring- Identifier of the order in progress.
add_payment_info
The payment step is shown, with the buyer data already filled in.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Total price to pay.
itemsarray- The items in the cart.
payment_typestring | string[]- Payment method, or the list of available methods when there are several.
couponstring- With promotionsNames of the applied promotions, separated by commas.

ob_user_*string- Buyer parameters, when the purchase form collects them.
purchase
The purchase is completed and the confirmation page is shown. It is sent once per order.
transaction_idstring- Order code. Use it to match the purchase with your other systems.

valuenumber- Total amount paid.
taxnumber- Total surcharges (booking fees) included in the price.
shippingnumber- Delivery cost.
shipping_tierstring- Delivery method.
quantityinteger- Number of items in the order.

promotion_idstring- With promotionsFirst promotion applied by the buyer.

add_donation and remove_donation
The buyer adds a donation to the order, or removes it.
currencystring- Currency, as an ISO 4217 code.
valuenumber- Amount of the donation.
ob_donation_namestring- Name of the donation.
ob_donation_foundationstring- Foundation that receives it.
Gift cards and subscriptions
Gift card and subscription purchases use the same events, with gift card or subscription items: view_item_list, view_item, begin_checkout, add_payment_info and purchase. There are no specific event names for them.
