Parameters

Parameters shared by the events of the event reference. Each event page lists the parameters specific to it.

Top-level keys

These keys are at the top level of every push, next to ecommerce.

eventstring
Event name.
event_idstring
Unique identifier of the event. For a ticket purchase, it is the identifier the server-side purchase uses too, so platforms can deduplicate them.

ecommerceobject
All the other parameters of the event.

Common parameters

Nearly every event carries these parameters inside ecommerce.

Other kinds of items carry a subset of these keys:

  • Items in lists (view_item_list, select_item, view_item) describe events, sessions or packs rather than tickets. In session lists, item_brand is the event name.
  • Products sold with the tickets, such as parking or merchandise, use item_id for the product reference and item_category to item_category3 for its delivery details.
  • Gift cards and subscriptions use items that describe the gift card or the subscription.

Buyer parameters

purchase and add_payment_info carry these parameters inside ecommerce, when the channel's purchase form collects the data.

ob_user_hashed_emailstring
Buyer email, hashed.
ob_user_hashed_namestring
purchaseBuyer first name, hashed.
ob_user_hashed_lastnamestring

ob_user_birthdaystring
Buyer date of birth.
ob_user_country_codestring

ob_user_genderstring

ob_user_postal_codestring

Hashed values are the SHA-256 of the value trimmed and in lower case, as lowercase hexadecimal: the normalisation Meta and Google expect for enhanced conversions and matching. The other buyer parameters are not hashed: check your privacy policy and the buyer's consent before sending them to third parties.
